Appointment booking:

NEW! The feature that allows patients to book appointments online is up and running for the past year. Each physician has dedicated a few spots for online appointments that you can schedule up to one month in advance. Patients of Dr Stables can book same day appointments starting at 9:00am the morning of. To book an appointment online, please follow this link: https://portal.indivicare.ca/b/ydhclinic

Note: these are only for in-person appointments of 15 minute duration, and to cancel the appointment you must call our office as there is currently no method to cancel it online.

Please call our office during office hours to book an appointment for an annual check-up, well child visit, mental health and counselling session or telephone appointment. Should you book this type of appointment online, it will be cancelled.

New phone system: our office has moved to a new phone system to better serve patients. With the new system, you’ll be able to know your place in queue, and if the queue is long it’s recommended that you call back at a later time rather than wait.

Vaccine update:

Flu vaccine:

This year, the province will provide regular as well as the high dose flu vaccine. Our clinic will have flu clinics once we receive our vaccine supplies from Public Health, likely around the end of the October. Flu clinic hours will be published on this page once we have more information. Both the regular vaccine as well as high-dose vacicne are available at pharmacies as well. We recommend for everyone over the age of 6 months to be vaccinated against the flu.

Covid vaccine:

We recommend for everyone to keep up with their Covid vaccine and boosters. Currently, Ontario is following Covid vaccines for the following groups:

  • Age 6 months to 5: Primary series only (Moderna pediatric dose, 2 doses given 8 weeks apart, or Pfizer pediatric dose, 3 doses given with 8 weeks between each dose)

  • Ages 5 to 17: Primary series, followed by a booster dose if >6 months (168 days) after completing their primary series.

  • Ages 18+: Primary series, booster dose(s) if >3 months since their last vaccine (both original, or bivalent booster doses are available)

  • Immunocompromised population:

    • Primary series for this population: 3 doses, rather than 2 doses

    • Ages 5-11: should receive the original Covid vaccine as a booster, if >3 months since their last dose

    • Ages 12+: should receive the bivalent booster, if >3 months since their last dose

  • We do not carry Covid vaccines in our clinic. You may access Covid vaccines at a pharmacy near you, or book online via Provincial booking portal or City of Toronto.
